Somehow, Ross managed to take a light-hearted comedy and create an in-depth social commentary. He made that transition utterly seamlessly with typical Gary Ross precision.

It's a decent enough premise, but it's been done before. And the actors don't do anything special to set this apart from the recent slew of zombie movies released in the past five years. It wasn't even particularly scary. The entire film was just bad dialogue and disgusting blood spewing action.

Kaufman's writing carries the film, but it helps that Chris Cooper turns in his best performance to date. Cage didn't fare too poorly either as the twin brothers and Streep is always good. Overall, this was a solid movie and a definite improvement over the last Jonez-Kaufman effort.

I actually liked this movie slightly more than the original. Cameron and co. managed to make the most out of a somewhat limited budget, and you can clearly see his talent as a filmmaker and screenwriter. Weaver was nominated for an oscar, justly, and the rest of the cast backed her up marvelously.

It's a story of the love a father and son share. It shows that imagiination and humor can conquer any evil foe. And Roberto Benigni made it all the more spectacular.

Way too cluttered and confusing to be enjoyable. Even though there were some truly exciting shoot-them-up fight scenes, Robert Rodriguez tried way too hard to make a convincing plot.

This is a very good attempt at recreating the greatest revenge story of all time and I enjoyed it very much.

The comedic writing in this movie is utterly genius. All the dialogue is pretty much hit-or-miss (as with most Brooks films) but in this one there are a lot of hits.

This movie just didn't do it for me, and I'd strongly advise anyone else against seeing it.
